Graduation Ceremony Ticketing Information
Due to the size of this year’s graduating class, tickets for the graduation ceremony will be limited. To ensure equity and accessibility for all families, tickets will be distributed in two booking rounds as outlined below. Please note that ticketing is managed exclusively by the UBC Chan Centre. This is a change in practice from previous years and all procedures must be followed as described below. Families will not be able to make requests or inquiries through the school office.
General Information
- Graduates do not require tickets.
- Each graduate is guaranteed two (2) complimentary guest tickets only if booked during Round 1 and there are no outstanding graduation fees.
- Families may purchase up to 2 additional tickets ($12 each), subject to availability.
- While we recognize that some families have larger groups, no exceptions can be made to the ticketing process.
- Ticketing is managed exclusively by the UBC Chan Centre. Please click here to order tickets. School staff are unable to make inquiries or requests on a family’s behalf.
Ticketing Rounds

Round 1: Guaranteed Complimentary & Additional Tickets
Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00 AM – Thursday June 11 at 11:59 PM
Please click here to order tickets. Students with no outstanding graduation fees may book:
- Up to 2 complimentary guest tickets (guaranteed in Round 1 only)
- Up to 2 additional paid tickets, subject to availability
Important Notes:
- Students will be prompted to enter a one-time-use access code (26SCT followed by their student number, e.g. 26SCT123456).
- Students need to check their e-mail for the 6-digit or 7-digit confirmation code. They must enter this code in order to complete their order and receive their tickets.
- Complimentary tickets are only guaranteed during this round.
- Students who do not book in Round 1 lose their complimentary guest tickets. All unclaimed tickets from Round 1 will be transferred to the next round for redistribution.
- This round is not first come, first served but booking early is recommended. If any difficulty with booking arises, it is the student's responsibility to contact the Chan Centre ticket office for assistance (Tues to Fri, 10AM - 2PM) before June 11.
Round 2: Additional Paid Tickets Only
Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00 AM – open until the day of event, pending ticket availability
- No complimentary guest tickets available.
- Only additional paid tickets available for purchase ($12 each).

- This round is first-come, first-served and without limits, subject to availability.
- TICKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE CHAN CENTRE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

GRAD DINNER/DANCE (PROM) May 22, 2026
Grad Dinner/Dance ticket sales are now closed; the following information is for those that purchased tickets:
Venue: Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, The Roof room- 15th Floor, 900 W Georgia St, Vancouver
Arrival time to venue 6:00 - 6:45pm
Buffer dinner and speeches to start: 7:00pm
Event ends: 11:00pm
- Coat check will be available
- No entries will be accepted after 6:45pm so please be on time.
- One entry only, no in-and-out privileges
- All VSB School and District code of conduct rules apply, please do not bring vapes/etc as they are not permitted and will be confiscated. The hotel provides security which does pat down checks and bag searches, this is hotel policy for these events.

GRAD CRUISE June 18, 2026
We do have one more big grad event planned. It is a grad cruise, and we would love to see you there!
DATE of the Cruise: Thursday June 18, 2026
Location: Concord Pacific … 750 Pacific Blvd. By the Plaza of Nations and BC place (NOTE: this is in a FIFA area which means there could be road closures, etc … please leave ample time for arrival)
Time: 5:00 arrival
5:30 Check-in
6 pm Boat leaves dock!
*** YOU NEED TO BE THERE BY 5:30pm at the latest to have enough time to check in and get through security. We have had to leave people behind before. Also, there is a security check much like the Prom. Security will do pat down and bag searches and the final say of whether a person comes on the boat is actually with the captain of the vessel.
This is a school sanctioned event which means all VSB and school code of conduct rules apply.

May 18-29 (exact selling dates still being determined) … Final price $85
(No tickets are available after May 29th as we need to give final numbers to the boat)
