Franklin Library is the heart of our school. It is located on the second floor and is open after school from 3:00-3:15 Monday through Thursday. Families are welcome to come and visit the library during this time. If you are in need of help to choose books, such as good picks for helping students learn to read at home, or recommendations for novels to read together as a family, I am happy to offer suggestions. I can also help you find books to fit challenging circumstances, such as the loss of a pet. Feel free to ask me how to access our VSB databases online – such as World Book. These are great resources that can be used at home and school to help students with research and they are available for VSB families.

Does your child need help remembering to return his or her library book on time? One helpful tip is to set a reminder into your smartphone as an alert the night before books are due.
