‘Speak Up at School’ is a practical guide for students, parents, and educators from Learning for Justice. It offers insight on the importance of responding to racism by speaking up for yourself, or for others if you’ve witnessed racism. The ERASE bullying tool has been provided by the B.C. Ministry of Education for students to anonymously report if they have been a victim of bullying/harassment of any kind, whether at school or online. The ERASE website includes many helpful articles and resources for students and families. More information is available at:

Ethós lab is a community support group for youth aged 12-18. This group offers resources, as well as virtual workshops on a range of topics that are especially relevant to Black youth, but are available for all students. More information and resources are available at the following links:

YouthinBC is a help line for youth, which is run by the Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Centre of BC. Crisis responders are available to chat online from noon until 1am daily. Additional resources and links are available at the YouthinBC website:
