French Immersion Program Review
The District conducted a French Immersion Program Review which was initiated in 2017 and completed in 2018.
The Vancouver School District has a strong 40-year history of French Immersion (FI) as a Program of Choice and the Vancouver School District continues to be committed to offering a vibrant French Immersion program. An important recommendation from the French Immersion Program Review is that the VSB endeavor to enroll two Kindergarten French Immersion divisions in each of the Early French Immersion sites which could involve a combination of consolidating, relocating or adding programs.
