Office of the Superintendent
The Superintendent of Schools, under the general direction of the school board, is head of the Senior Leadership Group, and is responsible for:
- Supervision of the requirements of the School Act
- Organization, administration, supervision and evaluation of all educational programs
- Operation of the schools in the district
- Overall supervision and direction of staff
- The Superintendent also provides regular updates to the Board at its public meetings.
The office of the Secretary-Treasurer also falls within the Superintendent's jurisdiction.
